How do Antony and Octavius respond to Brutus’s death at the end of the play? Why might they have responded that way?

Antony and Octavius honor Brutus as a worthy adversary and an noble man. They also credit him with being the only one of the conspirators who participated in Caesar's murder because he believed it was for the greater good.... that he did not participate in the assassination to benefit himself or his family.
