Color symbolizes healing. When Juliet gets her period and has terrible cramps, Harlowe walks her through a color visualization to try to calm down the hot painful fire that was in her ovaries. Juliet was able to harness this to deal with her cramps as well as her heartbreak. Juliet also associates colors with spiritual or emotional experiences she has had, for example, everything being golden when she met God.
