How does Max feel when he learns that Woody is not his biological father in the novel, Journey to an 800 Number?

When Max learns that Woody is not his biological father, he still considers him his true dad. Just as Woody gave Max's mother, Sally, a home and the legitimate husband she desired when she was pregnant, unwed, and alone, he also gives Max unconditional love and support.
