Where does Jason wake up after his accident?

Hawthorn wakes up in the most pain he has ever felt in his entire life. King makes his presence known and Hawthorn is relieved. There is a man in the cabin with Hawthorn, and it is obvious that the man is what saved Hawthorn and King from certain death. The man, a prospector, admonishes Hawthorn for his foolish behavior.
