What are the supernatural elements in Jane Eyre?

Bronte seems to place a lot of emphasis on the supernatural in the novel, Jane Eyre, but there really isn't anything truly supernatural within the text. The mood, atmosphere, and setting are Gothic and eery, but there is nothing in the story that cannot be explained. The author, none-the-less, keeps us on our toes throughout.
