Invisible Cities

How does the information provided to Khan by his other messengers differ from what Polo shares in the book, Invisible Cities?

Polo talks about his impressions of each city so that Khan can connect, at some level, to places in his empire that he'll never get a chance to see. The other messengers, however, give more practical information. They talk about finances, possible famines, and other important matters.
