What happens when Jackie's second husband, Winston, dies in the novel, Into the Woods?

Jackie's second marriage affords her wealth, health, and the ability to do as she pleases. He marriage also enables her to buy her way into the A-list of society. This lifestlye is short lived, however, as those with 'old money' soon tire of her marriage to money, and she is no longer invited or included in their world. When Winston dies this only becomes more evident and Jackie is shunned from society.
