Who is Paris from Inside the Walls of Troy and what is their importance?

The king and queen of Troy sent their son, Paris, to the mountains to die because of a prophecy. A shepherd, however, took pity on the boy and raised him as his own. When Paris' true identity was revealed, he was returned to his rightful place as a prince of Troy.
