Who is Dr. Fritz Todt from the nonfiction book, Inside the Third Reich: Memoirs?

Dr. Fritz Todt is Albert Speer's predecessor as Minister of Armaments and Munitions. Todt dies in a plane crash on a flight to which he had invited Speer. Speer considers Todt the only individual close to Adolf Hitler who is not a sycophant.
