Who is John Rosen?

John Rosen is a young, Jewish academic. He appears in a single scene at the end of Indecent, eager to present "...Vengeance" in its original form. He is portrayed as being as socially conscious and as idealistic as the version of Sholem Asch who appeared at the beginning of Indecent. The older Asch, however, tells Rosen that he will not be allowed to produce the play. Rosen's determination is not dampened, and he leaves the Asch home convinced that the production of "...Vengeance that he envisions will still take place.
