Who was responsible for Achilles' death?

Achilles does not die in the Iliad. At the end of the epic, he allows Priam to take Hector's body home to give him a proper funeral. This act gives him a sense of peace. Note, sources outside of the Iliad agree that Achilles was killed near the conclusion of the Trojan War. Paris was responsible for his death.
