Who is Pedricito in “If Beale Street Could Talk”?

Pedrocito is the waiter at the restaurant.

And then I remembered, as I was being introduced to our waiter, Pedrocito – which meant that he was the youngest – that we had been called on the block, Romeo and Juliet, people had always teased us.

Later in the novel, Fonny cons Pedrocito into him credit at the restaurant while he is with Trish... Predrocito admittedly allows him credit... but only because of Trish.
