Fernando was Isabel's husband. The couple ruled together and made huge decisions that were responsible for shaping modern day Spain. After Isabel's death, Fernando was not allowed to take control of the Kingdom of Castilla, and it was turned over to his daughter Juana La Loca. In revenge, he married a French woman in an attempt to beget an heir to the Kingdoms that he did manage. Fernando was later killed by poisoning.
