What is the importance of the Seattle Aquarium in the novel, Hollow Kingdom?

S.T. journeys to this aquarium to find Onida, The One Searched For. She is a wise octopus with strong connections to the Echo and Aura communication networks, and she inspires S.T. to rescue domestic animals who are trapped in their homes.

When S.T. arrives, most of the aquarium glass has been smashed and water covers the floor. Some creatures have escaped, some have been eaten by others, and some have perished.
