Bene Tleilax

A highly technological, but universally detested, race that produces gholas, the Tleilaxu are divided into Masters and Face Dancers. The Masters, whose ruling council is called the Masheikh, are short, gray beings with small mouths filled with sharp teeth. It is common for the rulers to undergo the axlotl tank at death to be grown again from their cadaver cells and have their previous memories restored. The Masters control a race of sterile mules, most often known as Face Dancers. These beings can take on the form and mannerisms and absorb the memories of those they kill.
