Hamlet was a thinker and a philosopher. He pondered the meaning of life and mused about the afterlife. He had the ability to see into the depths of human nature. I see these traits as strengths. Unfortunately Hamlet's penchant for thinking made him less of a man of action. Hamlet berates himself throughout the play for his lack of assertiveness and even violence.
