In Act 2, Scene 2 why does Hamlet tell Rosencrantz and Guildenstern that "Denmark's a prison"?

Hamlet says this because he's realized the fatal course he's set for himself. He is imprisoned on this course. He can't stay, he can't leave....all he can do is to exact revenge for his father and expose his mother and uncle for their sins.
