How does Hamlet's inner struggle show that he is a true Renaissance Man who bridges the gap between the Middle ages and Modern Culture?

The Renaissance man is one that is given to philosophy and enlightened thought, whereas before this the man of the Middle Ages was a man of action only (swing the blade first, and ask questions later).
