Discuss the choices Hamlet (the character) have made and whether or not these sacrifices have had a positive or negative effect

I suppose you might ask yourself: how much is the truth worth? Hamlet uncovered the truth and even exacted justice but at a price of tragic proportion. The main characters die, as they must in Shakespearean tragedy, and Claudius gets what is coming to him. Did Hamlet clean Denmark up? I suppose he did but like Hamlet pointed out, all men are sinners. There will be new travesties of justice. Shakespeare points out that man by his nature will always covet power, sex, and money.
