Hamilton, Miranda, and Obama all came from immigrant families. Hamilton came to the American Colonies from the Caribbean, where he was orphaned. Obama's father came to the U.S. from Kenya. Miranda's father came to the mainland from Puerto Rico. All followed the American Dream.
