Describe symbolism in Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift

With the contract Gulliver signs with the Lilliputians in order to gain his freedom, it
further imparts the idea that there is an unequal relationship between Gulliver and the Lilliputians; much like England and the other cultures it sought to ‘integrate’. However it should be noted that the contract was symbolic of a treaty with cordial power and despite the fact that he could’ve broken the contract whenever he felt Gulliver didn’t and chose a more peaceful path.
