She is said to have said at one point that she was: filled with rage because of the “unfair advantages that came with the right to wear trousers.”

Education was first and foremost to Mrs. Baker and she was going to see to it that her children had every advantage of that. This was in stark contrast to many in the day and age, especially Russell's grandmother.
