Great Expectations, I need an answer please

Pip realises the value of Biddy too late. For much of the book Pip is obsessed with the unattainable Estella. Pip is fixed on becoming a "gentleman" and Biddy is of his lower class. Ironically it isn't until the end of the book that Pip realises he should have been with Biddy all along.
