How was the education of the upper class in Great Expectations?

In Great Expectations, education in the upper classes involved, most often, finishing schools for girls, and appreticeships and military schools for boys. However, in Great Expectations, Ms. Haversham also wants Estella to learn how to handle (manipulate) men, so her idea of education is a bit different.
