The Lee Cemetery is where Ginger, now in her mid-thirties, went during her adolescent years to escape the crowded house in which she lived, the one that reeked of cat pee and the sour, booze breath of Albert, her foster father whose hands wandered too freely. Just down the road, the graveyard provided Ginger with a place of quiet refuge.
