What are the Motifs in the Masque of the Red Death? by Edgar Allen Poe

I'm suppose to do a powerpoint about the motifs in the "Masque of the Red Death" and I'm having a hard time trying to figuring out the motifs in that story.

Recurring themes or motifs in the Masque of the Red Death include the color red, the seven rooms, and the large, black clock.
