Eric is the son of lawyer in town. His father is always getting him out of trouble, including having to do the ride alongs like Tiffany, Meg and Brian have to do for being on the bridge. He was kicked out of college for selling pot from his dorm room. Eric and Meg are having casual sex. Eric is the same age as John After, and it turns out the boys knew each other in high school.
Eric continuously tries to hassle Eric. He first does this by taking Meg up to the train bridge, knowing that John patrols it. It also takes Meg there to have sex when Eric thinks she's hooking up with John. At Rashad's party, Eric tries to convince John that Will is hitting on Meg so the two will get into a fight.
