What happens to Ghost at Mr. Charles’ store, after Ghost had left Everything Sports?

Ghost runs out of the sporting goods store and ends up at Mr. Charles’ store. He helps Mr. Charles stock the shelves, and ends up getting trapped in the stock room, which takes him back to the moment when he and his mother hid there when they had run out of his house, when his father lost it three years ago.
