What were some false beliefs Tacitus had about Britain?

Tacitus confidently described Britain, but there were some false beliefs from his time. Tacitus mentioned Ireland as lying between Britain and Spain. He also thought Spain was to the west of Britain and closer than it really is. In addition, the way in which the translation described the shape of Britain was difficult to imagine. Tacitus described it as a wedge shape or a length-wise cut diamond.
