Master Janotus de Bragmardo meets with Gargantua in order to convince him to give back the stolen bells. Gargantua isn't sure what he should do, so he consults with Ponocrates, Eudemon, and the other servants of his house. In the end, the group decides to show Master Janotus their hospitality, provide him with food, drink, and gifts, while in the meantime, they secretly return the bells to the church.
