How does Eknath Easwaran use imagery in Gandhi, the Man?

The imagery is largely drawn from the 1930's and the places Gandhi was active in. Of course 1930's India figures prominently, both in urban and rural areas. There is also imagery of the British Raj as well as Gandhi's time in South Africa and England.
