Who is Lissa Dragomir from Frostbite and what is their importance?

Lissa is the final living member of the Dragomir royal family. All of Lissa's family was killed in a car accident that also killed Rose, but Lissa brought Rose back to life with her spirit power that left them with a bond in which Rose can reach into Lissa's head and know where she is and what she is feeling. Lissa does not always appreciate this bond and Rose finds it to be quite a distraction at times when Lissa is feeling strong emotion and pulls Rose into her mind.

Many believe that Lissa is the only Moroi whose magic is spirit and therefore Lissa trains alone with the magic teacher at the academy. However, while on a ski trip with the school, Lissa meets Adrian Ivashkov and learns that he too has spirit as his magic element. Lissa and Adrian quickly join forces so that they might learn all they can about their magic together.
