How do the eyases develop from hatching to leaving the nest?

They eyases go from white downy feathers to feathers like those of their parents. As they age, they become more and more domineering over their parents, which leads Frightful and Chup to leave the aerie and roost above. Once the eyases can feed themselves, they leave the nest.
