Who is Maxine Nowicki from Four to Score and what is their importance?

Maxine Nowicki is a waitress who was arrested for stealing her boyfriend's car. Maxine took the car during an argument in order to get away from her violent boyfriend. Maxine's case would have most likely been dismissed or resulted in probation, but she failed to show up for court. Stephanie is given her case as her cousin wrote Maxine's bond. Soon after taking the case, Stephanie discovers that Maxine is sending coded messages to her boyfriend. Stephanie has the messages decoded and follows their instructions in order to find Maxine, but has little luck. Eventually, Maxine comes to her and asks that she stop interfering, because the notes are designed to humiliate Kuntz.
