Kundilla is strong and powerful, which commands respect. He has long hair and a thick beard, and looks dignified. He helps to catch and trap good food, and looks after his people. He also cares about his people, and is concerned when more white people arrive. The fact that the others look to him for guidance shows that he is respected.
