It was one in the morning but Noah felt like getting away. He rode his bike down to the marina. He spotted the bald guy sitting guard outside Dusty's ticket office. When Noah saw that the guy was asleep, he sneaked past him and onto the Coral Queen. He looked through the crew's log and files and for any scrap of evidence that could help his father. He looked down on the desk and saw that the bald guy was awake. He wouldn't be able to leave the boat without passing him.

Noah found a rack of chips and walked up to the top deck and unceremoniously dumped them over. They made quite a racket and drew the immediate attention of the bald guy. As the bald guy raced up the aft stairs, Noah raced down the stern stairs and onto the deck. He ran for his bike but then saw a police car coming his way. He jumped in his hiding place behind the bushes. In doing so, he banged his head on the sewage tank. It really hurt. Although his head was throbbing, he had discovered something very important. The tank was empty. He check it out further and discovered that it was rusted out on the bottom. It was a decoy, a complete sham.
