Jasper bullies Noah relentlessly.

"He was a well-known jerk, which I partly blamed on the fact that his parents had named him Jasper. That would be enough to make anybody mean and mad at the world." (pg. 12)

When Jasper shoved me, I wasn't totally surprised. He isn't a bog kid but he's wiry and strong, and he likes to fight. It's one of the only things he does well. (pg. 13)

That's when he socked me in the right eye. It hurt too. (pg. 37)
