When and where was Flush born?

The date of Flush's birth was estimated to be early in 1842. He was a descendant of Tray, a red Cocker Spaniel of note. Flush had all the characteristics expected of his breed. As a puppy, Flush lived at Three Mile Cross at the home of Dr. Mitford and his daughter.
