An Hoa Basin

In the An Hoa Basin southwest of Da Nang, the Marines fought several combat operations. An Hoa was severely battered due to the constant battles fought there. The ground was covered with craters from the bombing. The mountains were to the west, and the VC owned the mountains. They hid in every hole and behind every tree, waiting to kill the Marines.
