Phony was a troubled youth. From the time he was ten, he'd been involved in illegal activities, spent time in Juvenille Hall, and as a result found himself tossed from one foster home to the next. By the time he was sixteen, Phony found himself the youngest inmate on a narcotics farm. Phony's enlistment in the Marines provided him with a much needed fresh start, something his probation officer fought to provide him with.
