Harris doesn't focus on women as a whole, so Charlie (Charlotte Maguire) is likely our best example. His portrayal of Charlie, in my opinion, reflects the 1960s as a whole. She is smart, assertive, and confident..... passionate about the goal she'd set for herself, opinionated, and determined to discover the truth. Charlie is an American girl, living in a tine of change.... a young woman far different than the young women of Germany.
