Infidelity is a recurring idea in "Fallen Hearts" by V.C. Andrews. The infidelity is so rampant in the story that it is difficult to unravel at first. Several of the characters have affairs and have children by other men. The first is Leigh, Heaven's mother. Tony, Leigh's step-father, seduces Leigh at a young age. Leigh becomes pregnant with Heaven.

Heaven is unfaithful to Logan after she learns that Troy is alive. Troy is the father of Heaven's daughter, Annie.
