What is the narrator point of view in the novel, Fall of Giants?

Fall of Giants is narrated in the third-person and follows the lives of eight different people from four different countries. While a majority of the narrative is third-person limited, there are a few cases where the narrator’s voice slips in, telling the reader something important that does not happen in the scene itself.
