What is the symbolism of the Gavron Order in the book, Fair Play?

The Gavron Order is symbolic of the fact that few value the job of raising children and managing a home. Camilla stayed at home with her children for years, and she and her husband divorced when the children were grown. The judge in the divorce issued a Gavron order, which meant Camilla had to become self-sufficient.
