Importance of Tire Store Receipt

Lucas writes down clues to Loverboy's identity on the back of a tire store receipt. After Daniel tells Lucas he should retire, Lucas leaves the receipt in Daniel's office. Daniel reads the receipt and realizes that Lucas knows that Daniel is Loverboy.
