Why do Gilgamesh and Enkidu feel that they are meant to be great friends?

Both actually have a lot in common. Gilgamesh was a king and wanted power, whereas Enkidu wanted to help and protect the people around him. Gilgamesh and Enkidu are like any typical brothers. They both come from the same parents: the Gods Their anger and passion are mutual.
