What is the main theme in “Old Story Time”, Act 2, Scene 2

There are two major themes in this act and scene. The first is family, specifically, Len's relationship with his mother, which is deeply effected by her hatred for his wife, Lois. The second theme revolves around religion and obeah (a type of sorcery practiced in the Caribbean), and Mama's desire to rid Len of his wife..... who she believes snagged her son with sorcery.
