How did the boy treat bill? Make a list of the things he did to bill

The boy is ten years old, and he seems not to be afraid at all. He imagines that he is a Red Chief, and that Sam and Bill are his captives. He calls Bill Old Hank and Sam Snake-eye. In the evening he says that he will take Bill’s scalp in the daybreak and then will burn Sam on the stake. At dawn Sam is awaken by Bill’s screams, he gets up and sees the boy sitting on Bill and trying to take his scalp with a little knife. Sam is afraid to fall asleep again as he remembers the boy’s words concerning him.

After breakfast, Sam goes to the town for the news concerning colonel’s son being kidnapped, but the town is peaceful. Returning to the cave he finds Bill very nervous and begging Sam to let the boy go. the two men decide to write the colonel to demand the ransom of two thousand dollars. When Sam receives the father’s answer it says that he is ready to take his son back home for two hundred and fifty dollars.

Bill is beyond happiness, and they take the boy home. The boy does not want come back, and when he understands that he is to left at home he grabs Bill’s leg and tries to bite him. The father says he will keep his son for about ten minutes. Bill says that in ten minutes he will be at Canadian border.
