One of Alvord's strengths can be found in the fact she was home. The ability to communicate with her patients when many of the doctors couldn't was a huge plus.

One of her weaknesses is her quick temper and impatience. She didn't like being challenged, and she had no tolerance for people that she didn't think were doing a good job.
