Who is Dr. Stein from Emergence: Labeled Autistic and what is their importance?

Dr. Stein is a psychiatrist. Temple begins seeing Stein after her experiences at summer camp, and he determines that her autism is a result of some kind of "psychic injury". Temple sees Dr. Stein once a week, but she is smart enough to filter what she shares with him. Her distrust, which is justified, is caused by the fact he discusses their sessions with her mother.
